A pesar de ser suspendido oficialmente por el UST por razones de sanidad, el espiritu del skimboard se revelo y se llevo a cabo el campeonato sin importar posibles secuelas virales en los competidores. La iniciativa a cargo de LES MAFIA se realizo el 17 de mayo , contando con la participacion de Bill Bryan (R.I.P), Scott Flores (R.I.P), entre otros valientes (R.I.P).

Nuestros amigos Bastardos de la rompiente francesa han realizado con mucho entuciasmo, bikinis y cervezas un especial de lo que fue su visita a nuestro pais, lo que fueron las tardes en la escuelita, el trip a algarrobo, las tardes en el colmao, las noches en el journal, etc.. etc...

Saludos Bernardo y EL Panda, fueron muy buenos momentos!!

Cabo Clasico 2009 CANCELADO! oficialmente

Dado a que no se recomienda viajar a Mexico devido a la creciente influenza, el campeonato ah sido cancelado oficialmente por la organizacion del UST, dado a que la principal prioridad son la gente y los competidores en general.

2009 no tendra clasico en cabo, asique habra que esperar el 2010 para ver quienes se coronan campeones en uno de los campeonatos mas esperados durante el año.

"Hola Amigos! Beinvenidos a Travel Logs!

I was feeling a little nostalgic For Chile today, so I figured I’d throw a little Spanish in this update. So I’ve got two things for you today - a tentative schedule of trips and travel logs, and a new photoset.

First off, this summer’s schedule. The main purpose of this blog is to allow you, the viewer, to accompany me on my trips this summer through my photos and my words. This summer is gonna be pretty busy. The next trip coming up is a two-week stint out in Orange County, CA. May 11th through 24th. After that I’m off to Tybee Island, GA. on June 6th for Skim Invasion’s Tybee Island Take-Over contest. After a Short break, I’m back on the road June 16th and headed to the northeast again. This time, I’ll be spending some time in Delaware and then heading up to New Jersey for the UST contest on LBI. One of two trips is in the works after that, so I’ll let you know more as the dates get closer. You guys (and girls) can check back around those dates for pretty regular updates with photos and stories.

Speaking of Chile earlier - things have been pretty slow around here lately. Last weekend was a disappointment, wave-wise. I’m sure lots of people know the feeling of seeing a great wave forecast in store and then when it comes time to get waves, there’s that missing factor and instead of getting great waves, you just get frustrated at how good it could be. Well, I figured instead of boring you with how mediocre the waves have been and to keep the travel theme up, I’d give you a big photoset from my trip to Chile. This is the same trip featured in Foreverskim magazine. I figured that I’d share some more photos with you , so here they are, courtesy of Skim Invasion and Apex Skimboards.
